G is for Gun was a multi-year film and photography project documenting the spread of K-12 schools arming teachers as a security measure. Arming teachers began to spread in over thirteen states after the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, CT in 2012, yet the trend received little national attention. G is is for Gun was one of the first sustained projects on the topic and helped to expose its dangers and the complexities of the debate. The film was nationally broadcast on the PBS WORLD Channel in 2018, and was chose to headline the Meet the Press Film Festival in Washington, D.C. the same year. Please see the project website for more details.
